Check before operation
1. Check the power supply: single-phase AC power supply AC 220V±10% 50HZ; capacity ≥3.6KVA, it is recommended to use a stable single-phase power supply above 5KVA. Note: The power supply voltage or capacity does not meet, causing equipment damage or power supply accidents;
2. The indicated value of the insulating gas (SF6) pressure is not less than 0.35 MPa, not more than 0.5 MPa, and less than 0.35 MPa. It is forbidden to use the insulating gas SF6 in the X-ray generator when the pressure is lower than 0.35MPa. Note: low pressure, use will damage the high pressure package, ray tube, etc.;
3. Check the cooling fan: the generator cooling fan and the outer cover are not obstructed;
4. The plugs and sockets should be protected from moisture and mixed with garbage, mud, sand, metal and other debris. The pins or holes of the plugs and sockets are not oxidized and become black and have poor contact;
5. Check wires and cables: check that there is no damage, leakage, or aging on the outside.
Start steps
1. Power connection: Use a plug and socket with a ground wire to connect. The wire should be placed in a place that is not easy to entangle people and not easy to be broken by pressure. If you need to extend the power cord, please use a wire that can withstand 10A;
2. Connection of X-ray flaw detector: Please make sure to ground the ground terminal of the equipment reliably with a ground wire. Connect the controller and generator cable, and place the generator in the working position and fix it;
3. Turn on the power switch and check that the transmitter’s cooling fan is operating normally;
4. When training the radiographic flaw detector, a warning area must be set.
Note:
When the X-ray generator is working, the staff must set up a warning area, and people and animals must stay away from this area to avoid radiation damage. After the training is completed, set the exposure time and voltage parameters according to the changes in the workpiece and focal length, and press the high voltage switch.
During operation, when the machine performs exposure, there must be no one, animals, and the operation of the flaw detector in the warning area.
Normal shutdown steps
1. After reaching the exposure time, the controller automatically cuts off the high voltage output and enters the rest time;
2. After the break, turn off the power switch and remove the power cord and high-voltage cable;
3. Organize the parts for reuse.
Emergency stop
1. When people or animals appear in the alert area, when dissuasion or driving is invalid, press the high-voltage switch button to cut off the high-voltage output;
2. If the radiographic flaw detector is abnormal, cut off the power switch;
3. The power supply is unstable, cut off the power switch.
Daily maintenance
1. After the inspection operation is completed, the dirt and dust on the surface of the machine must be wiped to keep the equipment tidy;
2. The X-ray generator should be placed in a ventilated and dry place, avoid humidity, high temperature, corrosion and other environments, so as not to reduce the insulation performance, cause equipment damage or leakage of electricity to hurt people;
3. Anti-vibration and fixing measures should be taken during transportation. The X-ray generator (head) should be placed vertically, and the fan should be kept on top. It is strictly forbidden to place it at an angle or horizontally. At the engineering site and during transportation, the equipment should be handled with care during handling and transportation, and special shock-absorbing packaging should be used and the shock-absorbing measures must be effective.
